POSITIVE MINDS

What started as an exciting journey – removing my mirena and trying to conceive – quickly turned into a nightmare of uncertainty and bad news. We fell pregnant immediately, but my uterine wall was too thin to sustain the pregnancy. We immediately tried again, but in vain. Eventually after eight months

MY PARTNER TOLD ME I HAD ‘THAT GLOW”’, AND BOUGHT A HOME PREGNANCY TEST FOR ME. IT CAME OUT POSITIVE! WE WERE BOTH SO HAPPY!

of trying, we visited a fertility clinic. Again numerous tests were done, and the results went from bad to worse. Suddenly I had almost no egg reserve at the age of 35, and my husband had a low sperm count with morphology problems as well. We were told the only way to conceive was through IVF treatment. We prayed and people prayed for us. We decided against all treatments, and left it up to fate. By God’s grace, six months later we conceived naturally, without any intervention. It was our miracle baby! We’re now 12 weeks and going strong, and everything is looking perfect with our growing baby. I just want to encourage all struggling mourning women out there, that it’s never too late. Sometimes your prayers really do get answered, so stay positive! LIEZEL
