Sharing different cultures
ST CATHERINE’S School held its Grade 7 Culture Day on Friday morning in the school hall.
The class of 16 pupils was divided into four groups and were allocated a country.
Each group had to decorate a stall using information about the country, make traditional food, dress up in traditional clothing and entertain the judges with games and dances from that country.
The group of judges then allocated each pupil with a mark which goes towards their EMS, history, geography, English, art and music marks.
The countries represented on the day were Russia, Thailand, Alaska and Scotland.
