ST CATHER­INE’S School held its Grade 7 Cul­ture Day on Fri­day morn­ing in the school hall.

The class of 16 pupils was di­vided into four groups and were al­lo­cated a coun­try.

Each group had to dec­o­rate a stall us­ing in­for­ma­tion about the coun­try, make tra­di­tional food, dress up in tra­di­tional cloth­ing and en­ter­tain the judges with games and dances from that coun­try.

The group of judges then al­lo­cated each pupil with a mark which goes to­wards their EMS, his­tory, ge­og­ra­phy, English, art and mu­sic marks.

The coun­tries rep­re­sented on the day were Rus­sia, Thai­land, Alaska and Scot­land.
