Soaking swimming action in Richards Bay
FIVE swimming clubs braved the cold weather to compete in the
Fish Eagles Short Course gala held at the Arboretum municipal swimming pool on Saturday, with the main aim of clocking qualifying times for various level and national galas coming up towards the end of the 2018/2019 season.
Fish Eagles, uShaka Swimming Club, Pongola Swim Academy,
Toti Titans and Penquins Swim Club members aged U9 to Open competed on the day.
A group of multi-disability swimmers used this event as trials to qualify for the KZN team to go to SA Schools later on in the season.
These torpedoed individuals will be back in action on Saturday 10 November when they compete in the Age Group 2 gala at the Arboretum municipal swimming pool.
