Mini crick­eters on the move

SIX lo­cal pri­mary schools sent their U7 U9 boys and girls cricket teams to com­pete in a fun mini cricket fes­ti­val hosted by Richards Bay Chris­tian School at the uMh­lathuze Cen­tral Sports Com­plex on Tues­day af­ter­noon.

Grantleigh, Felix­ton Col­lege, Richards Bay Chris­tian School, St Cather­ine’s, Sage­wood and John Wes­ley com­peted on the day.

Each team con­sisted of eight play­ers, with each player get­ting to bat and bowl for six balls.

Most schools will be back in ac­tion at the uMh­lathuze Cen­tral Sports Com­plex on Satur­day, when com­pet­ing in the pop­u­lar an­nual KFC Mini Cricket Fes­ti­val.
