The host school was crowned regional winner in 2011, 2016 and 2017 and are hoping to equal Empangeni High School’s (EHS) record of four regional titles.

EHS dominated between 2012 and 2015.

Teams will follow a round robin format competing in 20-minute one-way games, with the top two teams qualifying for the finals.

Schools participating on Saturday are Felixton College, eShowe High, John Ross College, Grantleigh, St Catherine’s, Empangeni High and Mandini Academy.

Saturday’s winners will be the last team added to the mix for the grand finals, joining the nine other regional winners who have already qualified.
