Accident waiting to happen

As a concerned citizen of eSikhaleni, I have reported that a street light in Inhlava Street, which is mounted on pole number three, is on the verge of falling to the ground.

I have been alerting the City of uMhlathuze for the past two months that the light is hanging on by two hinges instead of four, but nothing is being done about this.

As a ratepayer, I am afraid that this is an accident waiting to happen.

What is concerning is that we have kids playing around this street light pole and they could potentially be injured should the light fall.

Quick attention will be appreciated.
