Bik­ers ride for char­ity in Mtuba

BIK­ERS will rev their en­gines for a good cause dur­ing the Ibutho MCC 1st an­nual Char­ity Run at Meet Mekaar Re­sort in Mtu­batuba on Fri­day and Satur­day.

The aim of the ride is to raise for un­der­priv­i­leged fam­i­lies and chil­dren in the KwaMbonambi and Mtu­batuba ar­eas.

The char­ity ini­tia­tive is spear­headed by Ibutho Bik­ers in a joint ven­ture with Meet Mekaar Re­sort.

On Fri­day bik­ers will be in­volved in a mu­si­cal ses­sion, fol­lowed by a ride from the re­sort to Mtu­batuba town and an award cer­e­mony on Satur­day.

Fam­i­lies have been iden­ti­fied by uM­folozi Lo­cal Mu­nic­i­pal­ity and Mtu­batuba Mu­nic­i­pal­ity.

‘We are very keen on mak­ing a dif­fer­ence in our com­mu­ni­ties and we want to grow this char­ity drive and as­sist many needy peo­ple in the area.

‘Funds will be used to pur­chase food parcels, clothes and other things needed by the re­cip­i­ents,’ said Langa Ga­bela of Ibutho Bik­ers.
