Fierce com­pe­ti­tion in SALGA games

TOP sports­men and -women of four lo­cal mu­nic­i­pal­i­ties came out in their num­bers to com­pete in the King Cetshwayo District Games held in Richards Bay on Satur­day, with the main aim of land­ing a spot in the district team that will com­pete at the SALGA Games in Pi­eter­mar­itzburg in De­cem­ber.

Ath­letes aged U20 from uMthon­ja­neni, uMh­lathuze, uMlalazi and uM­folozi mu­nic­i­pal­i­ties com­peted in rugby, cricket, swim­ming, bas­ket­ball, net­ball, golf, ath­let­ics, soc­cer, box­ing, indige­nous games, karate, chess, dance, vol­ley­ball, ta­ble ten­nis and ten­nis. Foskor Richards Bay would like to thank our spon­sors, sup­pli­ers and par­tic­i­pat­ing com­pa­nies for mak­ing the Foskor Char­ity Golf Day at the Em­pan­geni Coun­try Club a great suc­cess. The event bears fruit in touch­ing the lives of those in need. Once again, by col­lec­tive busi­ness net­work­ing and sup­port, Zu­l­u­land can be a brighter place for all. We are al­ready look­ing for­ward to next year to re-unite with all of you for this wor­thy cause.
