Dover school on an agricultural campaign
DOVER Combined Farm School has embarked on a campaign to make farming fashionable among learners in the lower grades.
This was evident on Tuesday when school Principal Wonderboy Mzobe showed Grade 7 learners a piece of land donated by Dover UVS to be used for agricultural purposes.
‘As a school which offers agricultural management as a subject, it is our wish to encourage our learners to get more involved in agriculture as a whole.
‘We want them to be at the forefront of driving agricultural food security for the school, as well as selling food produce in order to generate extra funds for the school,’ he said.
