Wildlife supporters thanked
HAVING hosted yet another successful Nseleni River fishing competition two weeks ago, the uMhlathuze Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife Honorary Officers saw fit to give tangible thanks to their sponsors.
Framed certificates were given to a number of people and businesses at the Enseleni Nature Reserve on Tuesday evening in recognition of ongoing support.
‘We were able to raise about R20 000 on the day and this will go towards building a new campsite on the reserve,’ said HO spokesperson Denis Botha.
‘In this regard, we appeal for help in cash or kind to enable us to get the materials and complete the project.
‘We have a longer term vision of building a wheelchair-friendly boardwalk for disabled visitors to the reserve.
