Wildlife sup­port­ers thanked

HAV­ING hosted yet an­other suc­cess­ful Nse­leni River fish­ing com­pe­ti­tion two weeks ago, the uMh­lathuze Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife Hon­orary Of­fi­cers saw fit to give tan­gi­ble thanks to their spon­sors.

Framed cer­tifi­cates were given to a num­ber of peo­ple and busi­nesses at the Ense­leni Na­ture Re­serve on Tues­day evening in recog­ni­tion of on­go­ing sup­port.

‘We were able to raise about R20 000 on the day and this will go to­wards build­ing a new camp­site on the re­serve,’ said HO spokesper­son De­nis Botha.

‘In this re­gard, we ap­peal for help in cash or kind to en­able us to get the ma­te­ri­als and com­plete the project.

‘We have a longer term vi­sion of build­ing a wheel­chair-friendly boardwalk for dis­abled vis­i­tors to the re­serve.
