Zululand Observer - Weekender - - ZO CITY BEAT - Larry Bentley

The House in Zululand will be hosting Ann Jangle, an established musician with an original sound and style.

Besides being an accomplished musician, she is also an animal activist, travelling southern Africa to raise money and awareness for abused animals and animal rights.

That is her African Dream.

Ann’s ominous style of dark folk, eclectic rock, gypsy infused, theatrical, soulful style of writing and performing leaves a lasting impression.

She has performed her way onto a vast variety of stages all across Europe and southern Africa and shares the stage with many different artists to bring a heartfelt performance that resonates.

She is influenced by the likes of Etta James, Vera Hall and Tom Waits and enjoys inviting guest artists on stage depending on the mood and setting.

Bookings for an amazing evening of great music and good food are open on 035 4740870.

The show begins at 7pm on Wednesday, 17 October.

Music entrance is R100 per person,

Ann Jangle will ‘wow’ the eShowe audience next week
