Sikhulile Dlamini and Ni­cola Reddy, posed with their sons - 2018 head boy Mpen­dulo Zondi and deputy head boy Owen Reddy - at the fi­nal prize-giv­ing held at Solid Ground Church. Owen also re­ceived the Eliot Tro­phy for Top Achiever in Com­puter Stud­ies and the Dur­ban Girls’ Col­lege Good Fel­low­ship Award Mongezi Nt­shangase (Gr10) was awarded Aca­demic Ex­cel­lence Tro­phy and the Felix­ton Col­lege Top Pub­lic Speaker Tro­phy. Mbalenhle Mashaba (Gr11) won the Mot­zouris Danc­ing Tro­phy. Kirsty Richard­son achieved Over­all Aca­demic Ex­cel­lence, the Mondi Top Artist Award, plus the Top Pho­tog­ra­pher Tro­phy at the Eisteddfod. Retief Louw (Gr11) pic­tured with his mother Anré, won eight sub­ject prizes and four tro­phies for ex­cel­lence in aca­demics Ntando Mthuli (Dux 2018) was awarded no fewer than a stag­ger­ing fif­teen tro­phies while Kayleen Lo­ganathan won a to­tal of seven sub­ject awards and spe­cial tro­phies
