Villa Soro

HOTEL

-

Villa Soro is a hotel that we here at BASQUE LUXURY are especially fond of; and not just because it is an exceptional symbol of Basque luxury, but also because it has been, on several occasions, the stage for our own events.and, the fact of the matter is that, despite being a stately villa from the beginning of the twentieth century, it is fully equipped to house events and small conferences.

The hotel has a meeting room that is equipped with the most modern technology and that can house talks for up to 20 people. In addition, the different spaces of the main villa’s ground floor, as well as its porch and gardens, can be reserved for organizing exclusive events.the bar, which features two distinct environments (these can be divided with a folding wall), can be rented out for a cocktail party or informal dinner. The entranceway lobby, with its majestic staircase that has an oratory on the landing, can be used for presentations. Next to the lobby is the living room, which can house meetings of up to 20 people with U-shaped seating, 22 guests seated at an imperial table, 24 in schoolhouse configuration, and up to 40 if the seats are in theater arrangement.the English garden located at the entrance of the property and the terrace in front of the stables are also attractive areas for outdoor events.

Over the past few years, we have used the hotel’s different rooms for BASQUE LUXURY events. In 2016, we organized an exhibition by the artist Alfredo Bikondoa featuring sculptures and paintings that were exhibited around the building’s four floors. In January of 2017, we held the launch of BASQUE LUXURY MAGAZINE on the main floor. This event featured entertainment from a jazz band located in the staircase’s oratory. A few months later, we organized a new exhibition, this time with the artist Iñigo Manterola, whose sculptures are still currently on display in the gardens, lobby, parlor, and bar. In 2018, we returned to Villa Soro – this time to offer a roundtable discussion open to the public to talk about the topic of Experiential Luxury. Speakers’ presentations took place in the living room, only to move afterwards to a cocktail party in the bar.

The advantage of holding a conference at a hotel is that the attendees can stay at the same place without having to move about.villa Soro has 25 rooms with four different categories distributed over the two buildings that make up the hotel. Among the free services that guests have available to them is the private parking lot, the Tesla electric car charging station, bicycles, beach towels, daily newspapers, wi-fi, and a gym.

The classical ambience of this aristocratic villa brings elegance to any event, making attending a work meeting or participating in a corporate weekend event delightful. Here at BASQUE LUXURY, we will continue to trust in Villa Soro for our most special of meetings.
