Man arrested in Calpe for assault

A MAN was arrested in Calpe last week, following a reported physical attack on a woman. The alleged assault occurred at 22:30 in Calle Alemania, when the man punched his girlfriend, who subsequently telephoned the police. Police attended immediately, and the man was arrested soon afterwards. He will appear in court charged with violence against a woman in a public place.
