Woman run over by truck

A TRUCK ran over and killed a 76-year-old woman when she was crossing the Calle Ejercitos Españoles in Alfaz del Pi.

An ambulance and doctor was dispatched to the scene immediately, and were able to attend to the woman who was badly injured.

Once stabilised she was transferred to Villajoyosa hospital, where she died shortly after arriving.
