Incident reporting success
Following the re-introduction of the Green Line mobile application, where residents can report incidents around the town, Benissa council announced this week that they have already solved 83% of the reported requests.
Most cases involved problems with roads or pavements, such as spillages or dumped rubbish.
With an extra six staff employed by the council, workmen have been able to respond more quickly to requests, the results of which are then updated to the user’s mobile phone.
Through the Green Line the user can also ask any question, and the response, after being dealt with by the relevant department, will be sent by email.
The application is available for many other towns in the area. To download it, search for Línea Verda on your mobile, and select your town of residence.
