A few week s ag o the bank s along this stretch were completely stripped of v eg etation but already you can see the reeds starting to g row ag ain and it will not be long before they will req uire some cutting back to mak e peg s ag ain. T he match was won by R ichard C rawshaw from peg 3 with 4 .9 2 k g , just beating R oy D ainty who had 4 .5 4 k g from peg 1 . T hird was D av e S utton with 3 .5 0 k g from peg 5 and fourth S tev e F ell with 2 .3 5 k g from peg 8 .
