This as­so­ci­a­tion, which worked for 17 years to as­sist os­to­m­ates of many na­tion­al­i­ties in Spain, has now been suc­ceeded by the EOS In­for­ma­tion Ser­vice. Based in Jávea, it con­tin­ues to pro­vide an in­de­pen­dent non­profit-mak­ing na­tional ser­vice, by tele­phone and email for those who have a urostomy, colostomy or ileostomy. The Hope­fuls

The group meets re­gard­ing all kinds of de­men­tias, in­clud­ing Alzheimer's, strokes, car­dio­vas­cu­lar etc. We meet on Fri­days at Lui's Lounge at San Javier camp­site on the Bal­si­cas Road, San Javier at 11.30 where we en­joy cof­fees, teas or soft drinks. We need more peo­ple to join us, both English and Span­ish speak­ing. Car­ers and peo­ple with any of the de­men­tias are wel­come at all times. Terri Hor­vath Mor­ris - Prac­tice ev­ery Fri­day from 16.00-18.00 from the be­gin­ning of Septem­ber un­til the end of July. Any­one in­ter­ested in join­ing our friendly group would be made very wel­come. If you are rel­a­tively fit, male or fe­male, any age, with or with­out danc­ing ex­pe­ri­ence, we will teach you var­i­ous forms of tra­di­tional English Mor­ris danc­ing. We work with the Poli­cia Lo­cal and Guardia to re­duce crime and in­crease se­cu­rity in our neigh­bour­hood. If you live in an area cov­ered by NHW but do not have a lo­cal co­or­di­na­tor please try to get a vol­un­teer, there is very lit­tle work in­volved or time re­quired and if you do not have a NHW Branch in your area talk to your neigh­bours and con­sider start­ing a new branch.
