Elche’s 8th up­hill race

Elche will be host­ing it’s 8th Racó de la Mor­era race this Sun­day, Novem­ber 12.

The start and fin­ish line is the Paseo de la Estación op­po­site the mu­nic­i­pal park and cov­ers moun­tain­ous grounds over 16km.

The run is or­gan­ised by the Peña el Flato and AVADOS Alpe in aid of the Aso­ciación Va­len­ciana de Dis­plasias Oseas (AVADOS Alpe).

Some 700 - 800 par­tic­i­pants are ex­pected, with a max­i­mum of 1000 per­mit­ted. 'Cham­pi­onchip' will be in charge of con­trol­ling the run via a chip sys­tem.

If you would like to take part, in­scrip­tions can be made through the web­site www.chipl­e­vante.com or by go­ing in per­son to the Cen­tro de En­tre­namiento Sin­er­gia (Pza. Reyes Católi­cos 11-1).

If you reg­is­ter in ad­vance the cost is €12 if you have your own chip or €14 with­out. The cost is €20 on the day.

All par­tic­i­pants will re­ceive a t-shirt at the end of the race and tro­phies will be awarded to the first three win­ners in each cat­e­gory.
