Valencia's most expensive property
An online platform has ranked the city's homes by market price, so stay clear of the Eixample neighbourhood unless money is not a problem
By Joe Wickman A STUDY of homes in Valencia city has revealed that there are a total 405,743 worth an estimated €62,319 million.
The data was analysed by an online platform which takes into account land registry figures for each individual property as well as the system used in mortgage evaluations to determine its proper value.
Excluding outstanding homes of over 700 square metres, the single most expensive property is located on the calle de la Paz, at a market value of €2,210,280, followed by a 435-square metre home on the avenida Alameda at €1,675,785.
The Eixample neighbourhood (just outside the historic centre, includes the bullring) comes in as the most expensive area in the city, and on average, the calle Colón has the most expens- ive apartments, with the square metre costing €3,626.
Furthermore, the overall most expensive street is the Gran Vía Marqués del Turia, with 957 homes worth a total €572,161,559.
