Va­len­cia's most ex­pen­sive prop­erty

An on­line plat­form has ranked the city's homes by mar­ket price, so stay clear of the Eix­am­ple neigh­bour­hood un­less money is not a prob­lem

By Joe Wick­man A STUDY of homes in Va­len­cia city has re­vealed that there are a to­tal 405,743 worth an es­ti­mated €62,319 mil­lion.

The data was an­a­lysed by an on­line plat­form which takes into ac­count land registry fig­ures for each in­di­vid­ual prop­erty as well as the sys­tem used in mort­gage eval­u­a­tions to de­ter­mine its proper value.

Ex­clud­ing out­stand­ing homes of over 700 square me­tres, the sin­gle most ex­pen­sive prop­erty is lo­cated on the calle de la Paz, at a mar­ket value of €2,210,280, fol­lowed by a 435-square me­tre home on the avenida Alameda at €1,675,785.

The Eix­am­ple neigh­bour­hood (just out­side the his­toric centre, in­cludes the bull­ring) comes in as the most ex­pen­sive area in the city, and on av­er­age, the calle Colón has the most ex­pens- ive apart­ments, with the square me­tre cost­ing €3,626.

Fur­ther­more, the over­all most ex­pen­sive street is the Gran Vía Mar­qués del Turia, with 957 homes worth a to­tal €572,161,559.
