Back to school and traffic jams

Costa Levante News - - NEWS -

News staff reporter LENGTHY traffic jams were created across Valencia on Monday as schools reopened their doors after the summer break.

Over 15 kilometres worth of traffic jams formed in the capital and its access roads, the worst of which was the 7.5 kilometre-long stoppage on the V-30, a situation that was worsened by the presence of road works.

The other lengthiest examples took place on the road from Xirivella to Valencia port and from Quart de Poblet to the A-7, followed by smaller ones in Alboraya, Burjassot, and Manises, all of which turned the day into a distressing experience not only for the children, but also for their parents.
