Tick­ets sale date for Spain vs Al­ba­nia at Ali­cante

By James Parkes TICK­ETS for the Ali­cante match where Spain could book its ticket for the next World Cup will be on sale next week.

Spain will face Al­ba­nia at the Rico Pérez sta­dium on Oc­to­ber 6 at 20.45. In the case of vic­tory, the for­mer world cham­pi­ons will have booked a ticket for the Rus­sia 2018 World Cup.

Spain has a three-point lead over Italy with just two matches re­main­ing - in­clud­ing the Ali­cante game - and has a pos­i­tive goal av­er­age against the Ital­ians too.

Tick­ets for the match will go on sale on­line on Thurs­day, Septem­ber 21. Prices range for the cheap­est at €20 to the most ex­pen­sive at €60. Her­cules sea­son ticket hold­ers will be able to pur­chase tick­ets at the sta­dium ticket of­fices on Thurs­day 28, and the gen­eral pub­lic a day af­ter.

Na­tional squad man­ager Julen Lopetegui will be in Ali­cante the same day to of­fi­cially present the match and host a press con­fer­ence.

The turf at the Rico Pérez has only re­cently been re­placed and will be used for the first time to­mor­row (Satur­day) for Hér­cules' sec­ond di­vi­sion match against Badalona.

The last match was against Eng­land in Novem­ber 2015, with La Roja win­ning 2-0.
