Now there are more clas­sic cock­tails made with gin than with any other spirit, the most fa­mous be­ing a Mar­tini – which de­spite the name con­sists of gin, dry ver­mouth and op­tional bit­ters and a Ne­groni.

The Philip­pines is by far the world’s largest gin mar­ket, fol­lowed by Amer­ica, Spain comes in third place closely fol­lowed by the UK.
