A VALENCIA judge is currently investigating 13 right wing extremists for causing various violent incidents during a nationalist demonstration on October 9, which was the day Valencia celebrated its Regional Day.

The men under investigation allegedly attacked news reporters and other people taking part in the demonstration. The judge is investigating them for hate crimes, public disorder and for causing injuries. One is also ac- cused of attempted robbery with violence as he tried to snatch a camera from a photographer.

All thirteen have links to right wing radical groups in Valencia such as Grupo Yomus, while nine where found to be members of the Valencia Football Clubs rightwing fan group.

As well as those injured reporting them, Valencia Town Hall will likely claim compensation for destruction of street furniture during the street fights.
