A ‘grey-t’ time had by all

Costa Levante News - - ON STAGE -

Everybody present agreed that the performance by the group ‘3 Shades of Grey’ at the Ermita San Josep in La Fustera on Thursday was a resounding success!

The three members of the group, Barbara Millington, Andy Brown and Tim Kent, made a special trip from Yorkshire to appear at the fundraiser on behalf of the Costa Blanca Anglican Chaplaincy and their easy listening style of close harmony singing was much enjoyed by an appreciative audience. Thanks to their efforts, a sum in excess of €600 was raised, and this will be used by the Chaplaincy to help finance their work and the various charities they support.

Never allowing the grass to grow under their feet, the La Fustera Team are now prepar- ing for a series of events in November. A ‘Preachathon’ by Father Marcus is planned for November 13 at 11am, a quiz night on the 21st at 7pm (at the Inn on the Green) with a concert by the ladies choir ‘Caprice’ on the 15th at 6.30pm.

Details of these and other events planned for the autumn and winter can be found at costablanca-anglicanchap laincy.org .
