Sandungahawatta promoted as SSP

The Director of Parliamentary Police Division Superintendant of Police Senarath Padmalal Sandungahawatta has been promoted to the rank of Senior Superintendent of Police by the Public Services Commission.

He is an old boy of Nalanda College and a senior prefect who had excelled in athletics and had claimed colours at Sri Lankan Schools’ and Cadet Corps of his alma mater.

He holds the position of Secretary to the War Hero (Ranaviru) Association of Old Nalandians comprising three forces and police service as well as functions as the Chairman of Life Rescue Association of Sri Lanka.
