Rubber tapper woman stabbed by husband

A woman working as a rubber tapper in a rubber estate in Matugama was stabbed by her husband on suspicion that she was in love with the watcher of the estate.

The injured woman was admitted to Nagoda General Hospital in Kalutara. Her husband was taken into custody by the Matugama Police. He told police that the woman was caught red handed in the company of her lover.
