Sunday Times (Sri Lanka)

Will be back from next week

-

To let you know that I’ve been waiting for the past eight to ten weeks or more to read your article “A Letter To You From” Education Page but unfortunately it’s not there. Why? I do not buy the ST every week, but since I read your article I’ve made it a point to buy the paper without fail every Sunday.

This is the most moving article that pieces the heart and brings tears to ones’ eyes. It has such a lot to say - with so much of truth in it – in the simplest language that logs onto memory for quite some time.

Well - My niece is a journalist graduated in the UK. She writes about Sri Lanka on her visits here. But Devuni - there’s nothing to beat your style of writing. It’s just down to earth, marvelous and great

Do keep this article going as it’s not only me - there’s many who are Looking forward every Sunday for -“A Letter to You From” Best Wishes Now & Always!

Dear Devuni,

A really brilliant article. But to make not only America great but also the world, one should implement “dasarajadarmaya” which is far fairer. Any way congratulations for your “food” for thinking mind. Priyantha Gamini Coralage (MICU/NHSL)

Devuni,

You have made a beautiful letter that talks about Nelson Mandela, gives a brief history of South Africa in the 20h century and focused on life's lessons as given by Nelson Mandela. Excellent and I congratulate you for this presentation. Hema Dassanayake

Dear Devuni,

I loved reading your piece on lord Tennyson. I studied The Lady of Shallot for my London O/L s. Many many years ago and this brought back many memories.

In fact all the articles you write are very informative and heartfelt. Best wishes Chandani
