Alliance Finance steps up to assist Akalanka Peiris

Alliance Finance stepped up to assist Akalanka Peiris, a prominent swimmer of St. Peter’s College Colombo, by sponsoring the youngster who represented Sri Lanka at the Commonwealth Youth Games 2017 held in the Bahamas.

The Sri Lanka Aquatic Sports Union ( SLASU) upon a request made by the National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka recommended Akalanka, to represent Sri Lanka at the Commonwealth Youth Games which was held from July 16 to 25.

Akalanka was selected by the SLASU based on his performance at the Junior National Aquatic Championship held in April 2017 where he was adjudged the Best Male Swimmer. Having identified the talent of this young sportsman, Alliance Finance, will continue to provide him the financial assistance required in order to enable him to pursue his national and international goals.
