Sri Lanka Cricket scor­ers update changes to ICC play­ing con­di­tions

Sri Lanka Cricket Scor­ers (SLCS) up­dated it's mem­bers of the changes made to the laws of cricket which came into ef­fect on first Oc­to­ber 2017. The ses­sion was fa­cil­i­tated by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) and held at the SLC head­quar­ters in Mait­land Place.

Changes to ICC play­ing con­di­tions made in re­spect to Laws on the Play­ers, Um­pires, Ball, Bat, Pitch, Creases, wick­ets, prepa­ra­tion and main­te­nance of play­ing area, cov­er­ing the pitch, in­ter­vals, start and ces­sa­tion of play, in­nings, re­sult, overs, scor­ing of runs, bound­aries, dead ball, no ball, wide ball, fielder's ab­sence and sub­sti­tutes, bats­man's in­nings, prac­tice on the field, field­ers, ob­struct­ing the field, un­fair play and play­ers con­duct have been in­tro­duced.

Man­ager Um­pire Train­ing Unit of Sri Lanka Cricket T H Wi­je­w­ar­dena up­dated the scor­ers of the new laws and sig­nals. Man­ager, Um­pire De­vel­op­ment and Coach­ing of Sri Lanka Cricket Asoka de Silva was also present.
