Vaccination week commences in Paramaribo

The Rotary Club Residence and the Regionale Gezondheidsdienst (RGD) on Monday commenced with the vaccination week in the Nickerie District. On Tuesday the official launch took place in Paramaribo at the RGD’s Health Center in Latour. The regional slogan for VWA 2017 is “Get Vax to celebrate a healthy tomorrow!”

Rotary Club Paramaribo Residence ON Tuesday handed out posters. Club President Vivian Hannenberg pointed out that the posters are aimed at providing information to parents. Every year hundreds of children who live in and around Paramaribo are vaccinated.

Rotary Club Paramaribo Residence will make sure that its representatives are present at every vaccination center to provide the necessary support.
