New coalition wants to start working

-

The new coalition that is formed by the VHP, ABOP, NPS and PL hopes that the Independent Election Bureau (OKB) will finalize its work so that the they can head to the next phase where parliament will welcome its new members. The parliamentary session is scheduled to take place on June 29. During that session the chairman and the deputy chairman will be chosen. The new coalition has agreed that the ABOP will get the chairmanship while the VHP will get the deputy chairmanship. The new coalition has a combined 33 seats in parliament and 670 seats or 71 percent of all seats in the United People’s Congress. The BEP has announced that it will support the election of the country’s next president and vice president in parliament. Thanks to the BEP the new coalition now has the two-third majority that it needed to elect both officials in parliament. The election results that were published on Tuesday by the Central Main Polling Bureau (CHS) indicate that the new coalition also has the majority of seats in the United People’s Congress.
