Milan have spoken to Costa's agent Jorge Mendes and the Italian club's Chief Executive Marco Fassone said: “I would prefer to avoid talking about players from other teams; Diego Costa is a great player, but a Chelsea player. “We went to see Costa's agent, Jorge Mendes, there is a lot you can talk to him about. Costa is a great player but he is of Chelsea. That's all.”

Offered

Atletico are understood to have offered around £26million for Costa while Chelsea value him at around £55m.

Milan's other names on their list are Nikola Kalinic at Fiorentina, Andrea Belotti at Torino and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang though he is more likely for China in January as things stand.
