STA grading on 30 September
– Local taekwondo artists will be elevated to higher categories during an open grading session to be held on September 30.
The grading, to be held at a venue still to be announced, will see local taekwondo teams flex their muscles in a bid to get promoted to a higher level. The artists will be under the watchful eye of top local judges who are expected to be part of the event. Swaziland Taekwondo Association Vice President Sizwe Mabuza confirmed the upcoming grading session when contacted yesterday. “We will be hosting a grading session at the end of the
month where artists will be assessed and further get elevated to the next level. This will include juniors, males and females.
We do encourage teams to start preparing themselves for the upcoming event,” he said.
Mabuza further stated that they were currently working on amending the association’s constitution and strategic planning for the current final year.
“We are hoping to conclude the two exercises within the next three weeks and then present everything to the members once we conclude the processes,” he also said.
