Two lawyers ap­pointed act­ing In­dus­trial Court Judges

wo lawyers have been ap­pointed on an act­ing ba­sis as Judges of the In­dus­trial Court of Swazi­land.

The two,Manene Th­wala and Bonginkosi Wil­fred Ma­gag­ula have al­ready been sworn in as act­ing Judges of the In­dus­trial Court by the Chief Jus­tice Bheki Mapha­lala at a func­tion that was held in­side the

Tchief jus­tice’s cham­bers.


A Gov­ern­ment Gazette on their ap­point­ment has al­ready been is­sued and the two are ex­pected to deal with the back log of cases at the In­dus­trial Court.

The In­dus­trial Court only has three Judges in act­ing Judge Pres­i­dent Nkosi­nathi Nkonyane, Judge Dum­sani Maz­ibuko and Judge Thu­lani Abande Dlamini.

The two have al­ready hit the ground run­ning as the chief jus­tice has al­lo­cated cases to them since some cases date back to as far as 2006.

In­dus­trial Court Reg­is­trar Agrippa Bhembe con­firmed the ap­point­ments when sought for com­ment yes­ter­day.
