wo lawyers have been appointed on an acting basis as Judges of the Industrial Court of Swaziland.
The two,Manene Thwala and Bonginkosi Wilfred Magagula have already been sworn in as acting Judges of the Industrial Court by the Chief Justice Bheki Maphalala at a function that was held inside the
Tchief justice’s chambers.
A Government Gazette on their appointment has already been issued and the two are expected to deal with the back log of cases at the Industrial Court.
The Industrial Court only has three Judges in acting Judge President Nkosinathi Nkonyane, Judge Dumsani Mazibuko and Judge Thulani Abande Dlamini.
The two have already hit the ground running as the chief justice has allocated cases to them since some cases date back to as far as 2006.
Industrial Court Registrar Agrippa Bhembe confirmed the appointments when sought for comment yesterday.
I SWEAR: Acting Industrial Court Judge Bonginkhosi Magagula taking an oath during the swearing in ceremony at the High Court.
