For the past decade Ste­fanutti Stocks has been con­sis­tently spon­sor­ing the Malk­erns Pro­mo­tional League and knock­out tour­na­ment and the to­tal amount sums up to over E300 000.

This was re­vealed by the com­pany’s Manag­ing Di­rec­tor Shawn White dur­ing the prize pre­sen­ta­tion for both the league and the knock­out tour­na­ment held at the com­pany’s premises at Mat­sapha yes­ter­day.

The tour­na­ment was graced by Na­tional Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion of Swazi­land (NFAS) Pres­i­dent Adam ‘Bomber’ Mthethwa and Nton­tozi Inkhundla MP also Min­is­ter of Agri­cul­ture Moses Vi­lakati and Manzini Re­gional Foot­ball

White said they have and would con­tinue their part­ner­ship with the Malk­erns Foot­ball League whom they have been spon­sor­ing to the tune of E40 000 in the re­cent league.

“Our in­ten­tion is to em­power am­a­teur foot­ballers to de­velop into pro­fes­sional stars who will make it to the na­tional team. We will con­tinue en­hanc­ing the league fi­nan­cially and are hope­ful that our pri­mary goal will be a re­al­ity,” he said.

Don Don were crowned cham­pi­ons of the Days and Doors Ste­fanutti Stocks Malk­erns Knock­out which is spon­sored to the tune of E15 000 while Cut­ter Cos­mos were of­fi­cially crowned cham­pi­ons of the Ste­fanutti Stocks Malk­erns Pro­mo­tional league spon­sored to the tune of E25 000.

The lat­ter were also pre­sented with a new soc­cer kit which is part of the spon­sor­ship deal.
