Will Arsenal make a move for Aubameyang if Sanchez does leave?

Observer on Saturday - - Sport - Mirror

LONDON - Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has ruled out a January move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Gabonese striker has been in sensational form again this season for Borussia Dortmund, scoring 21 goals in all competitions. The Gunners are keen to strengthen this month with a fivepoint deficit in the race for a top four finish and could sell Alexis Sanchez, to avoid losing the Chilean for nothing next summer. Aubameyang has been linked with a move to the Emirates in recent years, but Wenger is adamant it is not on the cards this month: “No, that is not a possibility.”

Aubameyang was in Accra, Ghana for the presentation for the CAF awards, finishing in the top three alongside Liverpool stars Sadio Mane and winner of African Football of the Year Mo Salah.
