Absence of Montigny angers in the meeting

Observer on Saturday - - News -

Ex SAPPI Swazi saw for the first time the absence of the Montigny Investment Rangers in their meeting. The aggrieved former workers have been harassed by selected rangers who invade their meeting with surveillance gadgets in the form of sound recorders and video cameras by force.

Speaking during their meeting on Tuesday the former employees’ representatives disclosed that having reported the rangers and hinted that they are known to be spies for the people who are responsible for their predicament their absence is not suprising.

“We reported their behaviour and disclosed our fears that their pursuit was harassment as we no longer feel free to meet and discuss an issue that is as problem for us without being intimidated by the rangers” adds one of the former workers representative. The workers had complained bitterly about the acts of the rangers such that they said it must be reported before they ended up taking the law into their hands. The workers said they have a right to assemble here after seeking permission at the rightful Montigny office and further from the police.
