– Hub giants Manzini Wanderers will tomorrow introduce their new home kit in celebration of the team’s 60th anniversary.

This was revealed by the team’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Pat Mahlalela yesterday.

According to Mahlalela, the new kit is a partnership between the maroon and white outfit with South African brand Fumo, and further stated that it represented their ambition as a team to continue to work on the improvements, especially because they are celebrating their 60th anniversary.

“In accordance with international standards, we will introduce our new home kit which is a partnership between Fumo Brands based in SA and its brand name is Forge Forward (F). We hope that it represents our ambition as a team to continue to press on with our recent improvement in the field of play, administration, and supporter’sbehaviour.

“The team has recently marked 60 years of existence and in ushering in the next season, will persevere and be relentless in pursuing set goals and reaching new heights and standards, and hopes that the

Forge Forward brand will help propel all of the team's structures (senior team and development sides) in the mapped out direction, he said.” Mahlalela added that the replicas would be sold during the team’s games as response to the outcry from the team’s supporters.

He further gave a stern warning on those that make produce illegal merchandise.

“The new replicas were available for sale during the Swazi Bank Cup final last Sunday and they will again be sold at the stadium on Sunday E450. The round neck T-shirts will also be sold at E100.

“We hope this will curb the unwanted trend of people resorting to making their own illegal merchandise,” he said.

“As a matter of fact, the team intends to take legal action against all that are currently benefiting from the sale of illegally branded Wanderers materials, including car disc stickers.

Those interested in being part of our marketing channels can approach the office of the CEO regarding legal and formal arrangements.”

The ‘Weslians’ will play their last match against Premier League returnees Malanti Chiefs at the Somhlolo National Stadium tomorrow. Kick-off is 3:30pm.
