Primary school teacher wins E165 000 car
Aprimary school teacher at St Mary’s in Lobamba was the luckiest winner of all Super Spar customers as she won herself a E165 000 worth Hyundai Grand I10 vehicle.
The winner, Nobuhle Shongwe, was presented with her brand new sedan in front of her family at the Matsapha Super Spar on Wednesday evening.
The elated teacher, who is a staunch Catholic Church member, thanked God Almighty for making it possible for her to scoop the first prize of the competition, which was the car.
She said she is a regular customer at the shop stating that she spends about E2 000 per month for family groceries.
“I was just doing my usual shopping not even aware I might be one of the lucky winners.
I do not even know which shopping earned me this precious gift because I am a regular at this shop. I thank God for this gift and also thank the Spar stores for giving back to their customers in such a special way.
I am happy that I will now own a brand new car, which will be my second one,” she said.
She stated that she currently drives a Mazda Demeo. She thanked her family for the support as they were also present to witness the presentation. She encouraged the store management to continue doing competitions for their customers stating that such was a motivation for them to continue supporting the stores.
The draw was conducted two weeks back and the car officially handed over to the winner already registered under her name. Present was the Buy ‘n Save Spar Outlets General Manager Cassim Mansoor, Store Manager Rinco Khairul, Managers Mathokoza Dlamini and Mduduzi Mkhatshwa among others.
Tony Sibandze, who is a senior manager at the company and also a municipal councillor at Ezulwini and Matsapha Town Board, Councillor Bongani Mamba also witnessed the presentation.
