His Majesty’s Correctional Services Public Relations Officers Gugulethu Dlamini pleaded with officers to work with the department on issues that can be discussed within the available structures.

She said officers have so many avenues that could be used to discuss issues apart from involving the media.

She further said the correctional department had provided an open door policy even at station level for issues to be discussed until they reach the headquarters.

Discussions

Dlamini said, “officers must not fear anyone when there are issues that need discussions that will help the department in a decent manner as that shows all officers want to see changes and growth within the department”.

Dlamini further stated that no one would victimise officers for voicing their concerns at the different platforms in place in trying to improve the department.
