Gugu Primrose Dlamini, nee Simelane, wife to the late former Prime Minister Sibusiso Dlamini, yesterday received raving accolades for standing by her deceased husband throughout his battle with cancer.

Dlamini’s sister Lomagugu Magagula, nee Dlamini, spoke profoundly of his late brother’s wife stating that while they were together in holy matrimony for only 10 months, her work while they were together was like that of a lifetime.

She said they are very grateful for the great work that LaSimelane had done for the deceased as he battled with cancer. She prayed that God would blesses her abundantly as the work was not yet complete with his death, but she still has to look after the deceased’s children and the entire family.

Dlamini’s son, Muzi, also thanked Simelane for caring for their father through such hard times.

“He is now in the comfort of the Lord because Make LaSimelane took great care of him. We thank you Mnguni,” he stated. A representative of the Bhekinkhosi Church of the Nazarene saw murmurs erupt during the service while praising Simelane for having taken care of the deceased throughout his sickness.

This was when he stated that it was not usual that wives take care of their sick husband until their last minutes on earth.
