‘Tyson’, Mayisela blow for Malanti

– NORTH­ERN Hho­hho based side Malanti Chiefs will be with­out the ser­vices of de­fender Xolani ‘Tyson’ Ma­gag­ula and Them­bu­menzi Mayisela when they face-off with first-placed Green Mamba to­mor­row.

This is ac­cord­ing to a com­mu­nique from the Eswa­tini Premier League (PLE) through the of­fice of the Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cer (CEO) Si­manga Nh­leko yes­ter­day.

“Xolani Ma­gag­ula of Malanti Chiefs has ac­cu­mu­lated three yel­low cards and there­fore ac­cord­ing to Ar­ti­cle 6.2 of the 2018/19 MTN Premier League rules and reg­u­la­tions, the player is au­to­mat­i­cally sus­pended from par­tic­i­pat­ing in the next match to be played by his team,” reads part of the let­ter by the CEO.

‘Tyson’ as the former Mba­bane Swal­lows de­fender got his third yel­low card dur­ing the team’s mid-week en­counter where Malanti Chiefs faced­off against Lubombo based side Tam­buti and played to a 1-all stale­mate.

Mean­while, the team’s Cap­tain Them­bu­menzi Mayisela will also sit the team’s clash out as he got his march­ing orders in the team’s last-week­end match against hub gi­ants Manzini Wan­der­ers. The Ray­mond Dlamini led-charges are cur­rently placed on the bot­tom half of the league, on ninth po­si­tion and are on nine points, mean­ing they trail their op­po­nents Green Mamba by 15 points. Kick-off is 1.30pm at the Somhlolo Na­tional Sta­dium.
