The Se­nior Pas­tor of Chris­tian Fam­ily Church In­ter­na­tional Swazi­land Pas­tor La Salette has t ol d t he Lubombo Re­gional Ad­min­is­tra­tor (RA) Sylvia Mthethwa that hav­ing op­er­ated in the area for some time they had ob­served the need for an old age home.

She said there were many cases old peo­ple dy­ing in mis­ery be­cause ne­glect.

“We want to put up a place where the aged peo­ple who have no one to care for them can be loved. We have al­ready ex­tended our pro­posal for this fa­cil­ity with the lo­cal au­thor­i­ties and we are pray­ing that our wish be granted so that we care for the el­derly peo­ple,” she said. She also told the RA that they had about seven care points in to­tal, all of which are op­er­a­tional and help­ing a lot of chil­dren with healthy f ood a nd bas i c e du­cati on at pr e - school. She thanked the RA and the Eco Lubombo Or­gan­i­sa­tion ( ELO) com­mit­tee for choos­ing them as ben­e­fi­cia­ries of the aid.
