Af­ter a year with­out the in­ti­mate FNB Smooth Fest, the fes­ti­val makes a come­back with an ex­cit­ing line- up when com­pared to the two pre­vi­ous events.

This year’s fest will fea­ture South African artists such as Zonke, Amanda Black, Jimmy Dludlu, Floewe, MTN SWAMA award win­ner No­ma­lun­gelo Dladla, Ap­ple Gule, DJ Ntombs and DJ Mix mash. This was re­vealed by FNB Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Spe­cial­ist Sibusile Sig­wane who was the pro­gramme di­rec­tor with FNB Head of Mar­ket­ing Zethu Dlamini dur­ing the fest launch on Thurs­day at Nkonyeni Golf Estate.

Sig­wane and Dlamini re­vealed the line-up through a guess­ing game with guests and those who gave the right an­swer were pre­sented a gift (FNB branded Caber­net Sauvi­gnon wine).

Sig­wane also re­vealed that South African re­al­ity star and Idols SA judge Somizi Mh­longo will be MC of the show which will be held at Rid­ers Ranch. Be­lieve

“We be­lieve this year’s show will come with ex­cit­ing per­for­mances and Rid­ers Ranch is an ideal place for the Smooth Fest,” said Sig­wane. The event was graced by act­ing Min­is­ter of Sports, Cul­ture and Youth Af­fairs Owen Nx­u­malo, FNB CEO Dennis Mbingo, lo­cal artists such as No­ma­lun­gelo Dladla who ser­e­naded the at­ten­dees with her soul­ful tunes with Floewe, DJ Mix Mash, per­son­al­i­ties and FNB man­age­ment and staff.

Tick­ets to the fes­ti­val are out and avail­able at Shoprite com­putick­ets and they cost E725 VVIP, E 485 VIP and E 300 gen­eral.

“We only have 50 VVIP tick­ets avail­able and 300 VIP tick­ets,” said the pro­gramme di­rec­tor.
