King calls for con­ducive learn­ing en­vi­ron­ment

His Majesty King Mswati III has called for co­op­er­a­tion be­tween the stu­dents, lec­tur­ers, univer­sity ad­min­is­tra­tion, gov­ern­ment and spon­sors of the univer­sity to en­sure a con­ducive en­vi­ron­ment for re­flec­tive learn­ing to take place.

The King said the ab­sence of unity, team­work and tol­er­ance be­tween th­ese par­ties com­pro­mised the qual­ity of ed­u­ca­tion that stu­dents were ex­pected to ac­quire within the al­lo­cated cal­en­dar time.

“We en­cour­age unity of mind and pur­pose among staff and stu­dents in en­sur­ing high qual­ity ed­u­ca­tion this will im­prove the em­ploy­a­bil­ity of grad­u­ates and en­hance their tech­ni­cal and man­age­rial abil­i­ties in the workplace,” he said, fur­ther urg­ing all par­ties to in­cul­cate the cul­ture of team­work char­ac­terised by con­tin­u­ous di­a­logue for peace­ful, mu­tual and speedy out­comes when ad­dress­ing the chal­lenges that threaten the de­sired progress.
