S– Local football fans will be happy to hear that Mbabane Swallows and Sihlangu striker Sabelo ‘Sikhali’ Ndzinisa has been discharged from hospital.

The Mbabane Swallows star has been hospitalised at the Manzini Clinic since the Swazi Telecom Charity Cup where he sustained a serious head injury after colliding with a Mbabane Highlanders player during the first semi-final.

The free scoring player finally returned home on Thursday after undergoing a craniotomy operation about three weeks ago.

Swallows team doctor Samkeliso Mdluli confirmed the news when contacted yes- terday saying the player was making good progress.

“The player is out of hospital and we are now monitoring the situation at home. We are hoping for his speedy recovery,” Mdluli said.

Efforts to get Swallows General Manager Sandile Zwane proved futile after his cell phone was unavailable on the MTN network when called several times yesterday. Ndzinisa also asked to be called at a later stage when called yesterday. Worth noting is that the head injury suffered by the Ntshanini born star can be likened to that suffered by now English Premiership
