PI­RATES IN­VITED TO SA TOUR­NEY

SMo­neni Pi­rates have been in­vited to a four team in­ter­na­tional tour­na­ment slated for the Gi­ant Sta­dium in Tsh­wane, South Africa.

The ‘Sea Rob­bers’ will be up against two AB Mot­sepe league out­fits; Ally Force and Garankuwa United and an un­named side, which was still to be con­firmed by the or­gan­is­ers fol­low­ing Manzini Wan­der­ers with­drawal in the games. Pi­rates Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cer Thamie Dlamini con­firmed the de­vel­op­ments when sought for com­ment.

“We will be head­ing for South Africa to­mor­row (to­day) to take part in a four team tour­na­ment to be played at the Gi­ant sta­dium. We be­lieve the games will help to pre­pare for our next League match,” he said. Mean­while, Wan­der­ers Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cer (CEO) Pat Mahlalela said they

would not hon­our some tech­ni­cal­i­ties.
