Bishop TD Jake shares stage with Joy­ous Cel­e­bra­tion…

World renowned evan­ge­list and in­ter­na­tional mo­ti­va­tional speaker Bishop TD Jakes shared the stage with South Africa’s cel­e­brated and multi-award win­ning gospel en­sem­ble Joy­ous Cel­e­bra­tions on the last day of the Essence Fes­ti­val dubbed TD Jakes and MTN Joy­ous Cel­e­bra­tion Con­cert at ICC.

This was part of the line-up wit­nessed by the throngs of peo­ple who came from near and far to be part of the in­ter­na­tional fes­ti­val which was hap­pen­ing for the sec­ond time in Dur­ban. The city of Dur­ban be­came the first to host the fes­ti­val out­side its orig­i­nal home the city of New Or­leans in the United States of Amer­ica.

Clad in a blue classy gown of­ten won by preach­ers, The Pot­ter’s House found­ing Pas­tor who is rated among the wealth­i­est man of the cloth in the world, de­liv­ered a mov­ing ser­mon and mo­ti­va­tional talk which kept the fully packed au­di­to­rium in si­lence and soul search­ing as he un­packed the tools and keys to a healthy, Godly and pros­per­ous life.

Lead

There was loud round of ap­plause and stand­ing ova­tion as he took the podium as he was in­tro­duced by one of the lead singer of Joy­ous cel­e­bra­tion but once he started talk­ing there was ut­ter si­lence one could hear a pin drop.

Bishop TD Jakes, rated as num­ber one in the list of rich­est pas­tors, took the stage in be­tween the per­for­mance by Joy­ous Cel­e­bra­tion which in­tro­duced him in style with a song.

The group later stepped of stage and left the most fol­lowed preacher who hails from Texas talk to the thou­sands present on the night.

Af­ter his talk which lasted for al­most an hour Joy­ous Cel­e­bra­tion took over and mes­merised the strong crowd with the gospel sounds. Also form­ing part of the group on the night was Nomzamo who is a lo­cal artist.

Also lined up on the gospel night were up­com­ing artists in­clud­ing young stars which are a prod­uct of a de­vel­op­ment done by the mu­nic­i­pal­ity.

They in­cluded nine and 12 year olds who mes­merised and blessed the au­di­ence with their vo­cal ca­pa­bil­i­ties be­hind the mi­cro­phone.
