At times, the only di­rec­tion avail­able to a man is up. This proves true for Nkosilenhle ‘Maka­wosi’ Ma­suku who, hav­ing left Limkok­wing Univer­sity of Cre­ative Tech­nol­ogy qui­etly early this year, resur­faced at the telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions reg­u­la­tor, Swazi­land Com­mu­ni­ca­tion Com­mis­sion (SCCOM), this past week as the com­mu­ni­ca­tion man­ager and was noted pre­par­ing for World Post Day, which is to­mor­row. Ma­suku was, for the last few years, a recog­nis­able face at the Sid­vwashini based in­sti­tu­tion where he rose from po­si­tion of lec­turer to Limkok­wing En­trepreneur­ship Ac­cel­er­a­tor Plat­form (LEAP) man­ager cul­mi­nat­ing to his pro­mo­tion as Gov­ern­ment and In­dus­try Li­a­son Ex­ec­u­tive, a post he held with that of LEAP. Ac­cord­ing to his LinkedIn ac­count, Ma­suku pos­sesses a Bach­e­lor of Com­merce in Ac­count­ing de­gree as well as an In­ter­na­tional Masters in Mar­ket­ing Man­age­ment and Busi­ness which he at­tained from the South­ern Tai­wan Univer­sity of Tech­nol­ogy. Ma­suku, who has over the years left an in­deli­ble mark dur­ing ori­en­ta­tion at the LUTC was noted to miss­ing this year and when asked about his ab­sence, played cards close to his chest and only con­firmed he had left the in­sti­tu­tion where he was al­ways at the fore­front dur­ing vis­its by the founder Tan Sri Dato' Sri Paduka Dr Lim Kok Wing. When called to con­firm his lat­est achieve­ment, Ma­suku de­clined to state his cur­rent po­si­tion save to say it might be true.
